Fifty Shades Darker, the steamy sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey, came out in theaters this past week and it’s proving to bring out all the weirdos.
Critics aren’t really hot on the film, but it turns out a lot of other people are, hypothetically speaking.
You see, a cinema staffer in Australia randomly found a cucumber lying in an aisle following a Fifty Shades Darker screening.
We’re not drawing any conclusions as to what it was used for, butconsidering it was still in one piece, it probably wasn’t this (again, hypothetically speaking).
While some thought it wasa marketing stunt, according to Alex Temesvari, the cinema’s Deputy General Manager, the discovery was absolutely real.
“Hand on my heart, it was actually found after our Student Night session of Fifty Shades on Monday night (actually by me!),” he said. “Otherwise I would totally take credit for it being a clever marketing ploy, but honestly we’re not THAT clever.”
People had quite the reaction on Facebook drawing their own conclusions, one being that mistakes were made and sanitizer needed to be used in bulk.
